Hormone Testing (ZRT)
At Hydration Well, we use ZRT Laboratory for comprehensive hormone testing. Depending on your individual needs, testing may include saliva or other testing methods.
Hormone testing can provide valuable information about estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, and cortisol patterns. Your testing method is selected based on your symptoms, current hormone therapy, and what we are trying to evaluate.
Saliva and DUTCH: What’s the difference?
Both ZRT Laboratory and DUTCH testing offer valuable hormone assessment options, including saliva, blood spot, and dried urine testing. Rather than viewing one test as universally better than another, we select testing based on what information is clinically useful for the individual patient.
At Hydration Well, we frequently use ZRT because it offers multiple testing options, including saliva, dried blood, and dried urine, while remaining more affordable for many patients.
